Key answers to technical, commercial, and engineering questions about VeroLED displays.
- Who is VeroLED and where are you based?
- VeroLED S.R.L. is an Italian luxury engineering company and LED wall manufacturer active since 2008. Based in Greater Naples (Campania, Italy) with two active showrooms in Arzano (HQ) and Via Galileo Ferraris (Naples), plus a third opening in Calata Capodichino, VeroLED has engineered and delivered over 600 custom LED wall and architectural lighting projects across Europe and internationally. Contact: info@veroled.it · +39 081 1802 5300.
- How many nits are required for an outdoor LED wall in direct sunlight?
- To ensure crystal-clear visibility in intense summer sunlight (≥100,000 lux ambient irradiance), a true outdoor LED wall requires at least 5,000 to 7,500 real calibrated nits with a high surface contrast ratio (≥10,000:1). VeroLED verifies brightness in real field conditions using Konica Minolta CS-160 luminancemeters, guaranteeing compliance with actual outdoor performance rather than uncalibrated theoretical peak specs.
- What is the difference between COB (Chip-on-Board) and SMD technology?
- SMD (Surface Mount Device) solders individual LED packages onto the PCB surface. COB (Chip on Board) encapsulates microscopic micro-LED chips directly into the substrate with an unbroken protective layer. COB provides native IP65 frontal protection against impact and moisture, deeper blacks, wider 170° viewing angles, and ultra-fine pixel pitch down to P0.78mm for control rooms, luxury residential, and broadcast studios.
- What warranty and certifications do VeroLED screens include?
- VeroLED provides from 5 up to 8 years of comprehensive warranty depending on the selected series (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Essential). All products are certified CE, RoHS, ETL, FCC, and TÜV-EMC, featuring premium Tier-1 components (Nichia, Cree, Nationstar gold wire LEDs, Mean Well power supplies with PFC ≥0.90).
- Do you deliver and install LED walls internationally?
- Yes. VeroLED designs, ships, and provides on-site technical installation, rigging supervision, and FPO colour calibration across Italy, Europe, and worldwide. Past landmark projects include the National Theatre of Genoa, Pompeii Archaeological Park, Diesel Flagship Paris, Euronics Megastores, and international exhibition stands at ISE Barcelona.
- How does the Fleet Monitor PRO remote management system work?
- Fleet Monitor PRO is VeroLED’s proprietary cloud-based monitoring technology powered by NovaStar VNNOX. It continuously monitors screen telemetry (voltage, temperature, humidity, operational hours), adjusts brightness dynamically based on weather and time to cut energy consumption by 30–50%, and alerts our engineers to anomalies before visible failures occur.
- Can architects and general contractors obtain custom BIM/CAD files?
- Yes. Our in-house technical department works directly with architecture firms, interior designers, and general contractors, delivering custom CAD/DWG drawings, 3D BIM models, electrical load calculations, and structural anchoring specifications for historic buildings, luxury retail, and public tenders.
- Can we visit your showrooms to see the LED wall tiers in person?
- Absolutely. We welcome clients, architects, and technical directors to our showrooms in Naples and Arzano to evaluate our six quality tiers side by side in full operation before purchasing. You can book a dedicated technical appointment directly at info@veroled.it or via our online booking page.
